Anton van Zantbeek
Anton focuses on the national and international tax and estate planning of high net worth individuals and their families. He assists and advises wealthy clients in structuring their family wealth with a special focus on the successful transfer to the next generation. Anton is a guest lecturer at the Fiscale Hogeschool. Furthermore, Anton has extensive experience in investment taxation, (tax) compliance and the emigration/immigration of wealthy individuals. He regularly gives lectures on all these aspects and has numerous publications and opinions to his name. Anton has been a lawyer since 1996 and is registered at the Brussels Bar. Anton holds a Master in Law ( UGent / Paris X Nanterre) and obtained a Master in Tax at the Ecole de Commerce Solvay (ULB).

Ann Maelfait
Ann leads the litigation practice of Rivus. Her expertise ranges from handling (international) estates and divorces to disputes regarding wills and gifts.Ann also advises Families and family businesses (NextGen). In her daily practice, she also focuses on charity and independent directorship. Ann and the team assist Testament.be (charity). Ann teaches at the Wealth and Inheritance Planning Expert Class (Bruges Business School), gives regular lectures and publishes in Patrimonium. Ann holds a Master's degree in Law (KULeuven) and a Master's degree in Tax (KULeuven). Ann has been a lawyer since 2002 and is registered at the Brussels and Ghent Bar.

Peter Poppe

Peter advises high net worth individuals on national and international tax matters. He has extensive experience in the national and international structuring of family wealth, with a particular focus on the governanceand transfer of family businesses. He assists clients in their dealings with tax authorities and assists them in their negotiations with tax investigation services and inn ruling requests. Peter is also an active member of the Estate Planning Skill Group and regularly publishes in various taxjournals.
Peter holds a Master in Law (University of Ghent, 1999). He also has a Master in Tax Law and a Master in Business Law (University of Ghent, 2000). He was admitted to the bar in 2000and is now a member of the Brussels Bar.
Emilie Vanderlinden

Emilie advises on family and property family property law and focuses in particular on civil procedures (divorces, liquidation and distribution after divorce, etc.).
Emilie holds a master's degree in law and public administration (KU Leuven, 2004) and obtained her postgraduate certificate in estate planning at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2011 and was admitted to the Bar in 2004 and is currently a member of the Brussels Bar.
Stéphanie De Pauw

Stéphanie advises on inheritance planning, family property law and private international law. She specialises in procedures concerning liquidation and distribution of estates with an international dimension. In addition, she regularly handles proceedings in which aspects of company law are involved. Together with Ann Maelfait, she is responsible each year the contribution "Testaments" in the Patrimonium series and therefore has a special interest in inheritance law proceedings.
Stephanie obtained a Master in Law, (University of Ghent, 2006). In 2015 she obtained her Postgraduate in Tax Law and Fiscal Affairs at the University of Odisee in Brussels. She is a member of the bar in Ghent
Marc-Etienne Baijot

Marc-Etienne advises on tax law and national and international wealth planning, with a particular focus on Swiss and Luxembourg matters.
Marc-Etienne holds a law degree (UCL, 2011) and a master's degree in tax law, (ULB, 2013), as well as a master's degree in management science (LSM, 2013). He also holds a certificate in Luxembourg personal tax law (Chambre des salariés-Luxembourg LLC, 2015) and a certificate in Swiss inheritance law, (UniNE Neuchâtel, 2020). He was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2015.
Nore Delang

Nore advises her clients on family law, family wealth management, and estate planning, with a particular focus on civil procedures such as liquidations and distributions, divorces, inheritances, and property law matters.
Nore holds a Master of Laws (KU Leuven, 2012) and a Master in Notarial Law (KU Leuven, 2014). She also obtained a postgraduate certificate in Estate Planning. She began her career in the notarial profession and, since 2020, has worked as an independent notarial lawyer for various notarial offices, handling complex legal matters. Since 2015, she has been a teaching assistant at Hasselt University, where she supervises practical courses in family and personal law. She is also a certified mediator in economic and commercial matters. Her articles have been published in leading legal journals. She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2024.
Siemon Aelbrecht

Siemon advises in civil and tax matters before all non-judicial bodies in Belgium and the European Union, including the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice. He has a special interest in fundamental rights and their application in tax matters, as well as in tax procedures relating to value-added tax. is the author of several publications on tax law in leading legal professional journals.
Siemon obtained a Master in Law (Ghent University, 2014) and a Master in Taxation (KU Leuven, 2015). He was admitted to the Bar in 2017 and is now a member of the Ghent Bar.
Maurice Lamberts

Maurice advises on (inter)national wealth planning and family estate law and this in both tax and civil matters. He has a particular interest in the digital estate and the estate planning of digital assets.
Maurice holds a Master's degree in Law (VUB/UiB, 2018). He also holds a Master in Notarial Law (KU Leuven, 2019) and a Master in Taxation (KU Leuven, 2020). He has also obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Wealth and Succession Planning (VIVES Bruges, 2022). He was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2020.

Marie-Sirine advises on national and international asset and inheritance planning and conducts complex procedures in family property law.
Marie-Sirine obtained a Master's degree in Law (VUB, 2021), followed by a Master's degree in Notarial Law (VUB, 2022). She was admitted to the bar in 2022 and will be a member of the Ghent bar from 2025.
Pauline Vanneste

Pauline advises on national and international estate planning and family and relationship property law. She has a particular interest in the various aspects of estate and succession planning in the broad sense.
